Wrong on So Many Levels

My morning news reading sessions got exactly four posts down until things went wrong. A pretty good morning all in all, sometimes I don't get that far. I tend to skip all the "how is that even news" -items I run in to, but this one is just bizarre and terrible.

First, as I've found out to my dismay, after you post the initial version of your post and the RSS feeder picks it up there is no editing. All the typos and mistakes are there for everyone to see. This time an AFP post was decorated with what you see above. The linked article has no such picture, but hey, it still went out there and someone saw it.

And no, that isn't news. Someone doing something stupid and mildly dangerous resulting in a doctors visit is not news. Not even if it happens to an Aussie. Instead of real news we have this, which some reporter assumedly got paid for.
